When the concept for Total Wardrobe Care was created, the owner Julia Dee couldn’t find all the products she needed and spent 5 years researching and developing the best products for hanging, storing and protecting clothing in wardrobes.
The biggest challenge was to find a natural moth deterrent that did not leave a nasty smell on clothes. She researched and compiled a list of repelling herbs and gave it to a perfumier in the New Forest, UK, who created a fragrance that we like and moths hate!
The blend of ingredients to protect your clothes from moths and to have a nice smell within your wardrobe was born! May Chang, Lavender, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Laurel, Rosemary, Clove & Thyme are the 8 crucial ingredients in this natural, handmade blend.
These oils have been blended together to create an uplifting, clean, fresh fragrance, which leaves your home smelling beautiful and keeps moths away!

STEAM CLEANING
To achieve a deep clean without using harmful chemicals we recommend using steam.
Steam is particularly beneficial when it comes to removing moths, their larvae, as well as keeping your clothes in pristine condition. It may be worth investing in a good steamer. We recommend Fridja Steamers which are an incredibly fast way of avoiding ironing and cutting down on dry cleaning.
NATURAL MOTH KILLER
When it comes to using anti-moth products, one of our most simple, yet most effective has to be the Moth Trap Box. The moth trap can monitor and resolve your moth infestation. The adhesive board in the moth trap attracts and catches male moths by releasing the female pheromone. The moths stick to the adhesive and eventually die, helping to break the breeding cycle.
Once opened, it can last up to 12 weeks. Please note, we also offer the Moth Box Refills meaning you do not have to keep purchasing the Moth Boxes repeatedly.
Alongside the moth trap, our environmental friendly natural insecticide, the Chrysanthemum Moth Killer Spray should be used within your wardrobes (or entire room) to kill moths, eggs and larvae.
NATURAL MOTH REPELLANT
Prevention is always better than cure. So once you have got rid of the moths (or before you have them), it is a good idea to invest in some Hanging Sachets or Drawer Sachets. Using all natural ingredients and hand made in the New Forest, our sachets use properties that have been trusted for centuries and used as effective moth deterrents.Cedarwood is also a great natural moth deterrent. ANTI-MOTH SCENTED CANDLES
Our natural anti-moth May Chang scented candle repels moths by diffusing its May Chang blend of essential oils to protect wardrobe and bedroom areas, keeping them fresh, fragrant and free of moths. The candle burns up to 40 hours, is 100% soy and has a cotton wick.
A little tip we love to share, is if you light the candle before going to bed, it can help you drift off to sleep due to the essential oils! Our candle comes wrapped in a lovely, pretty and clear organza bag with ribbon, which makes the final touches of the candle really special. It is ideal if you are looking for that perfect gift for someone, or even if you want to treat yourself!
NATURAL SCENTED DRAWER LINERS
Another one of our products that we love and has been hand made in the New Forest is our natural scented anti-moth drawer liners. Drawer liners seem to be quite hard to get a hold of now, which is why we have gone the extra mile with our liners. We love the beautiful May Chang scent, as well as the pretty pattern that looks lovely in any drawer, no matter what shape or size.
The liners also have eight essential oils within them. Not only do they emit uplifting and comforting properties that help to cleanse and refresh the air but they are effective deterrents keeping your drawers and shelves free from moths and last up to 3-4 months! After this period you can refresh the scent with our linen spray and make your home smell sublime!
ANTI-MOTH LINEN SPRAY
One of our bestsellers is our Natural Anti-Moth Linen Spray (May Chang Blend) which can be used on upholstery, carpets, curtains and sofas etc.
