The exciting history of Total Wardrobe Care

I have 30 years of experience caring for my client's clothing, and Total Wardrobe Care was created out of the need to find perfect solutions for my clients' wardrobes.

My background is in tailoring and I studied fashion design at Art College. Since then I have worked with clients from around the world, tailoring, altering and caring for their clothes.

Through my business Designer Alterations I would visit clients in their homes, fit their clothes and take them back to my workroom and alter, remodel and repair them. The business grew and clients asked for advice on how to hang, fold and store their clothes and accessories.

The concept for Total Wardrobe Care was created, but I couldn't find all the products I needed and have spent the last five years researching and developing the best products for hanging, storing and protecting clothing in wardrobes.

My biggest challenge was to find a natural, organic moth deterrent that did not leave a nasty smell on clothes. A wonderful "nose" in the New Forest worked to find a scent that we love and moths hate.

Finally our Total Wardrobe Care collection was ready.

This is just the beginning! As I visit my clients I become inspired by their challenges and requests and there will be many more products being developed, so do keep an eye on our website.
